In addition to my work as a therapist, I also work as a Performing Musician. I am inspired by playing together with colleagues in an orchestra or in ensembles. Then I communicate without language, which has a very relaxing effect on my body and mind. I then end up in another dimension and make a different contact with myself than I do through thinking. This is how I experience who I am.
Music is a way for me to express my feelings, dilemmas and passions. I have been playing a musical instrument since I was six years old. First an accordion and then double bass and piano. Double bass has become my main subject and after completing the conservatory I work as a performing musician. The warm sound of the double bass forms the basis of a symphony orchestra or a string orchestra. As a solo instrument, the double bass also brings the right vibration into the room, which can change the resonances between people, allowing them to connect more with each other.
Through this deep connection with the art of music, playing or feeling it, i have developed ways to transmit it – in an engaged, meaningful way – to all the people i try to help.
